Hi, Steven J. Vaughan-Nichols here, I’m the editor of Videotcy, the Internet TV site for Internet TV watchers.
I’m a business and technology journalist with over 20-years of experience, Most of my work has been in covering the serious side of computing. For more on that you can keep up with my work on Practical Technology.
I also like the fun side of technology though. Ever since I was a kid, and my dad ran a TV repair shop, I’ve been interested in TV technology. After all, I literally grew up with a soldering iron in my hand. Lately, I noticed that while Internet TV was becoming more and more important, there wasn’t any Web sites or magazine that did a great job of covering for end-users on what was going on with the growing relationship between the Internet and TV. So, it was that I decided to launch Videotcy.
Here, you’ll find links to the best stories about Internet TV I can find and my own news coverage, reviews, features, and opinions about Internet TV. I hope to help you get the most from the coming combination of the Internet and television. We’re still in the early days of this technology marriage, and I think it’s going to be really exciting.
So welcome aboard. I hope you’ll visit often.
Steven
